Send a immediate email when the Quota is exceeded

Zimbra Collaboration, by default, saves email for 5 days if the quota of a mailbox is exceeded. Zimbra then sends the email to the recipient if (during this time) the mailbox has space. This can be a huge a problem if you have thousands of mailboxes. In this KB, we will drop an error email when the Mailbox is full without saving it in any queue.

Run the next command in the MTA Server. Like zimbra user

zmprov mcf zimbraLmtpPermanentFailureWhenOverQuota TRUE

The error message will appear immediately
