How to disable the autoupgrade of ZCO?
Problem
This wiki provides instructions on how to prevent the automatic upgrade pop-up for ZCO users that occurs when the ZCS server is upgraded. The steps outlined in this wiki will help to disable the automatic upgrade feature and eliminate the corresponding pop-up notification for ZCO users.
Solution
The steps below can be performed to disable the auto-upgrade.
1. Copy ZCO msi and ZmCustomizeMsi.js from the below location to a directory in the Windows workstation.
/opt/zimbra/jetty_base/webapps/zimbra/downloads/
2. Open the Windows command prompt and go to the directory where both files reside and run the below command.
cscript ZmCustomizeMsi.js ZimbraConnectorOLK_8.8.15.1834_x64.msi --disable-autoupgrade 1
Note: Replace ZCO file name with the ZCO version present on the server.
3. Uninstall ZCO and install using the modified msi.
Note: During the installation process, a warning message about an unknown publisher might appear. This warning can be ignored.
4. Reconfigure the outlook profile.
