Zoom integration end user guide
This integration offers you the opportunity to connect your Zoom account to Zimbra so that you can automatically create a Zoom Meeting linked to your calendar event. Any changes made to your calendar event will be reflected in the Zoom meeting automatically.
Activate the Zoom Zimlet
- Click on the gear icon and then on 'Settings'
- Select 'Zoom Integration'
- Click on 'Activate'
- Sign in to your Zoom account
- Note that the button now says Deactivate, indicating that you are connected to your Zoom account. Click on 'Save' to exit the 'Settings' screen.
Create a Zoom Meeting for your Calendar Event
- Select the 'Calendar' tab
- Click the New Event' button in the top left
- Fill out the event details; then click the 'Make it a Zoom Meeting' button
- Note that the 'Location' field now contains a Zoom Meeting URL. Click the Save button
Edit or Join a Zoom Meeting
- Select the Calendar tab
- Click on the 'Event', then click on 'Edit'
- To join a meeting, click the 'Join Zoom Meeting' button
- To edit the meeting, update the event details and click on 'Save'
Delete a Zoom Meeting
- Select the 'Calendar' tab
- Click on the event, then click the 'Delete' button
Deactivate the Zoom Zimlet
- Click on the gear icon
- Click on Settings
- Click on 'Zoom Integration'
- Click on 'Deactivate'
Re-enable the Zoom Zimlet (troubleshooting)
If you cannot see the Zoom settings, you may need to re-enable your Zimlet.
- Click the gear icon, and then click 'Settings'
- Click on 'Add-ons (Zimlets)'
- If the checkbox for com_zimbra_x-zoom is not selected, select it now
- Click on the Save button. A message will display asking you to reload. Click the 'RELOAD NOW' link.
