Uninstalling Zimbra on Mac OS X (Tiger)

Please update this area if you have any idea of how to completely uninstall Zimbra and restore Mac OS X (Tiger) client.

Following the recommended uninstall process from Zimbra still leaves remnants of modified files and my hard drive no longer goes to sleep on its own. I have filed a bug on this (#7793), but if anyone has figured this out, please post the proper uninstall process here.

Thank you.

Addionally, default OSX Server mail services (SMTP) may not work until you initiate the following:

  1. su -root
  2. rm /etc/aliases.db
  3. newaliases
  4. launchctl start /org.postfix.master

...hope that helps.
