The following are commonly experienced issues with ZCB calendar syncing.

Calender Stops Syncing for All Users

Other process is using one of the BES mail profiles

Check for the following log message:

MAPIMailbox::MAPIMailbox - OpenMsgStore (0x8004011d) failed

0x8004011d is MAPI_FAILONEPROVIDER. It usually indicates that some other process is using one of the BES mail profiles.

Terminate the process using the BES mail profile. This is most likely CalHelper.exe and Outlook.exe.

Outlook and/or CalHelper processes were running when BB Controller was stopped

Check for the following log message:

MAPI call failed. Error ''BlackBerry(r) Messaging Agent' exited without properly closing your Outlook data file C:\Documents and Settings\etc., 'BlackBerry (r) Messaging Agent' must be restarted. If this error message recurs, contact support for 'BlackBerry(r) Messaging Agent' for assistance.'

If you are seeing this error, Outlook and/or CalHelper processes were running when BB controller was stopped.

Make sure Outlook.exe and CalHelper.exe are stopped before stopping BB controller.

Calender Stops Syncing for Single User

User's .zdb file is corrupt

Check for the following log message:

Zimbra::Mail::ZimbraApptToOOMAppt::Convert.  Exception thrown!! 80040119
Zimbra::Mail::ZimbraApptToOOMAppt::Convert.  Exception thrown!! OOM converted error code: 80040119

0x80040119 is MAPI_E_EXTENDED ERROR. The .zdb file for this user is probably corrupt.

Repair the .zdb for this user with Scanpst.exe.

Red X on Device When Sending Meeting Acceptance

Check for the following log message:

MAPIMailbox::ProcessResponseFromPager - SetCDOMeeting (0x80004005) failed
CDO helper returned error (0x80004005) in SendHelper

If you are seeing this error, multiple BB users are accepting and declining at the same time. (See Bug 42381 [Fixed in ZCB-6]) Wait until next 5 release of 5-based ZCB or ZCB 6.
