Tab key doesn't input the tab character when in compose, instead it moves focus to another button
Purpose
Tab key doesn't input the tab character when in compose, instead it moves focus to another button.
Resolution
This was changed due to accessibility reasons, so that blind users can move out of the compose window. But since a lot of users would like to use the tab character as well, a preference option for this was introduced in 8.7.
To set it, go to preferences and check this option: "Pressing the Tab key enters a tab in the editor (rather than moving focus)"
Or enable it from the command line:
zmprov ma user@example.com zimbraPrefTabInEditorEnabled TRUE
