Solve error accessing Free/Busy with Outlook using ZCO

Purpose

When using ZCO, Outlook uses a URL to pull free/busy data, which is set automatically on install. When it polls this URL, it downloads an ICS file, which it puts in temporary internet files. If you have your security settings in IE set to disallow saving encrypted site data on the hard drive, it prevents both IE and Outlook from writing to temporary internet files for anything over https, which is the most common configuration for that free/busy URL.

You will obtain the next error:

Resolution

You need to allow Internet Explorer to save encrypted site data on the hard drive.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. In the Security section, the checkbox for “Do not save encrypted pages to disk” should be unchecked.
