Revision as of 21:53, 4 March 2010 by Cfremon (talk | contribs) (Adding E-seies introduction, and headings)

The following guide contains instructions for syncing your Nokia E-series phone with your Zimbra mail using the Nokia Mail for Exchange software. This guide works for the following Nokia models:

  • Nokia E90
  • Nokia E71
  • Nokia E65
  • Nokia E62
  • Nokia E61
  • Nokia E51

If you are attempting to use a Self-Signed SSL Certificate, see the Nokia E-Series with Self-Signed SSL Certificate guide instead.

Before You Begin

Before you can sync your Nokia phone with your Zimbra mail, you will need to download and install the latest version of the Nokia Mail for Exchange software. You can find this software at one of the following links:

Important: The current version of Mail for Exchange for the S60 ( 2.9.158 ) is broken for the E65 and E71 variants. Symptoms include partial downloads of large contact databases, and "hangs" / immediate disconnects when trying to sync. The new version (2.9.208) is working on the E71 but heartbeat problems are still there for the 'always on' mode. Consider RoadSync as an alternative for the e71.
