King Notes ZCO Repair
If you ever see Outlook errors, such as:
The Add-in Zimbra Client Extension (sharingAddin.DLL cannot be loaded and has
been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If
not update is available, please uninstall the Add in.
or
Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window.
The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was
unable to load the information service LSMSSP.DLL. Be sure the service
is correctly installed and configured
Try the following:
1) Shutdown Outlook
2) Go to Start => Run => <type cmd>
From the prompt, change directory to: c:\program files\common files\system\msmapi\1033
Should be able to run:
cd Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
Then in the 1033 directory, run the following commands:
regsvr32 /u /s LSMSSP32.dll
regsvr32 /u /s SharingAddin.dll
regsvr32 /u /s ShutdownAddin.dll (this is only there if 5.0.12 or later)
Now you can then delete the following dll's and exe's in this directory:
SharingAddin.dll
LS*.dll
ZCO*.exe.
If ShutdownAddin.dll is there, delete this as well.
**do not remove the MSMAPI32.DLL**

You should also look in the registry. If you're comfortable with regedit, you can get rid of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Zimbra and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZIMBRA
3) Go to Control Panel => Add/Remove Programs
Scroll down to until you see the ZCS Connector for Outlook
Select "Click here for support information"
Then click on "Repair"
4) If you follow the above procedure and Outlook will not open:
Remove the Zimbra connector and tell it to delete profiles.
Navigate to C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\
move the .zdb files into a different directory such as a backup directory.
Re-install the zimbra connector
Open outlook and build the profile from scratch.
