How to permanently disable zimbra Add-ins (Outlook)
Problem
Sometimes we need to disable the zimbra Add-ins in Outlook, and to leave them disabled permanently. But after a restart they are again enabled.
Resolution
To disable the add-ins permanently, we need to stop Outlook, and then open regedit as Administrator.
1. Open the regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
Inside you will see the two add-ins we need to disable:
2. When we click on one of both entries, on the right we can see the LoadBehavior DWORD:
By default it is enabled and with hex value of three (3). (For more information on the possible values refer to the Additional Content section below).
3. To disable the add-in, we have to set a value of zero (0).
4. Once we set that to zero, close regedit, and open Outlook. The add-ins should now be disabled.
