Purpose
Symptom: clicking on a new message does nothing.
The following error is produced in the mailbox.log file when trying to open a new message:
DwtTreeitem parent must be a DwtTree or DwtTreeitem Error code: -1 Method: DwtTreeitem
Resolution
The problem was caused by outdated zimlet that was not compatible with ZCS 8.x. The zimlet can be found on the following link: https://gallery.zimbra.com/type/zimlet/attach-contacts. If we check that link, below the download section, we can see the Compatibility section, that shows:
Compatibility: ZCS 6.0.7
We see that the zimlet has not been written for ZCS 8.x
Disabling the zimlet resolved the issue.
