Configure Zimbra GAL as LDAP addressbook in Outlook

Purpose
How to configure Zimbra GAL as LDAP address book on Outlook (POP3/IMAP) user.
Note: LDAP (TCP 389) or LDAPS (TCP 636) ports must be open if you want to use the above steps. Open the LDAP Port from Internet is not recommended. You can use VPN instead to protect your environment.
Please note as well that in Multi-Server Environments, you must use to the LDAP FQDN.
Resolution
- Open Outlook and Go to File >> Account Settings >> Account Settings >> Address Books.
- Now click on New link and select "Internet Directory Service (LDAP)" and click on Next button.
- Now enter required details according to the following screenshot and click on "More Settings" or Next button and enter address book name on next screen.
Enter user name like the below entry:-
uid=USERNAME,ou=people,dc=example,dc=com
