Purpose

Change time format in the Web Client from 'Noon' to "PM". If you want to change Noon to 12:00 PM in Zimbra’s Calendar, there is no easy way like a configuration change through zmprov’s CLI or the Webclient. You need to edit the specific language configuration file that is in use by the account. Doing a quick look at the 'Noon' property:

Resolution

Check the files that contains the word 'Noon':

zimbra@fred-xubuntu-12:~/jetty/webapps/zimbra$ grep -r Noon *
WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg.properties:noon = Noon
WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg_en_GB.properties:noon = Noon
WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg_en_AU.properties:noon = Noon
[…]

These files are at /opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages

If the user is on US English, you just need to backup ZmMsg.properties and change 'noon = Noon' to 'noon = 12:00PM'. Please change the other files if using a different English language.

This change will apply to all accounts provisioned on that Zimbra server using that language, regardless of the domain or COS.
