Change time format in the Web Client from "Noon" to "12 PM"
Purpose
Change time format in the Web Client from 'Noon' to "PM". If you want to change Noon to 12:00 PM in Zimbra’s Calendar, there is no easy way like a configuration change through zmprov’s CLI or the Webclient. You need to edit the specific language configuration file that is in use by the account. Doing a quick look at the 'Noon' property:
Resolution
Check the files that contains the word 'Noon':
zimbra@fred-xubuntu-12:~/jetty/webapps/zimbra$ grep -r Noon * WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg.properties:noon = Noon WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg_en_GB.properties:noon = Noon WEB-INF/classes/messages/ZmMsg_en_AU.properties:noon = Noon […]
These files are at /opt/zimbra/jetty/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/classes/messages
If the user is on US English, you just need to backup ZmMsg.properties and change 'noon = Noon' to 'noon = 12:00PM'. Please change the other files if using a different English language.
This change will apply to all accounts provisioned on that Zimbra server using that language, regardless of the domain or COS.
