Any info on how to determine the zimbra version from just the contents of /opt/zimbra ? JonnyRo Briefly looked for this, but didn't find. Serge van Ginderachter

The backup procedure seems not generic enough, at least on a Ubuntu LTS6.04 box, it fails, especially because de lvm utilities are on /sbin, not on /usr/sbin. I'm also adapting this script to just generate a cold copy in a separate directory (/backup) so this can be used to be rsynced (or whatever backup you want to use, I'm using rsnapshot) later on

For those who might use Retrospect backup software with the Linux client to backup their data. I have adapted the script to be used with the Retrospect client event handler, which allows Retrospect to initiate the snapshot before and remove it after a backup.
