Versamail on the Treo 650 does not support synchronization of contacts.

I need an setup document for the Treo 700W. Can anyone add that to the list?

When the Windows Mobile device is being synchronized using the HTTPS protocol the following error message appears:

You have an incorrect SSL certificate common name in the Host Name field. Make sure the server name is entered correctly. Support code: 0x80072F06

Reason:

Windows Mobile 5 does not support SSL certificates containing "wildcards" in URL address (for example *.company.com). This applies for AlternativeNames as well as for URL address of the server. Please note this is a limitation of the Windows Mobile 5 operating system.

Solution:

There are two possible solutions:

  Disable ceritificate checking in Windows Mobile 5 device by editing following registry in Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync\Partners\UID_Server_partnership. Add a new Value secure of DWORD type and set it to 0. UID_Server_partnership is unique ID number specifing the partnership with the specific server.
