Setting a default domain name
From Zimbra :: Wiki
To set a default domain name on a one domain zimbra install, you can run the following command as the zimbra user from the zimbra server machine command line.
su - zimbra zmprov mcf zimbraDefaultDomainName mycompany.com
This will let all your users login with just the first part of their e-mail address, user, rather than user@mycompany.com. This information is on Bug 368 in the zimbra bugzilla server.
The zmprov documentation refers to zimbraDefaultDomain, but I dont know if the two are aliases. The longer version worked for me.
